Day 1    Arrival in Ulaanbaatar

Arrive in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city and where half the population of Mongolia lives. First  we’ll visit Gandan Buddhist monastery, the most active religious monastery in the country where many faithful believers come from all over the world. Then we continue visit National Museum of Mongolian History, where you will see artifacts from Mongolia and Central Asia from the Stone Age to the present. Excursion to Zaisan Hill War Memorial to get your bearings with a panoramic view of the whole city. Overnight in the hotel. (L+D)

Day 2     Flight to Murun-Khuvsgul Lake

Flight to the capital of the Huvsgul province, Murun. The flight takes one and a half hours, and on arrival at the airstrip in the Murun a local driver, who will take you to Huvsgul lake National Park, will meet you and drive to Khuvsgul Lake, which is known as the second clearest lake in Central Asia. Khuvsgul lake water is crystal clear so that you can see bottom of lake when you are sailing and this lake surround by deep forest and magnificent mountains. This area is known as the Switzerland of Mongolia. After lunch in restaurant, we will explore the Khuvsgul Lake National Park. Relax and free time offers us the opportunity to explore the surroundings and enjoy the natural beauty of the region. Stay overnight at tourist Ger camp near shore of the lake. (B+L+D)

Day 3      Free relaxing, Khuvsgul Lake  

Relax, and there is great opportunity to hiking and horseback ride around lake and take photos of nature, plants and fauna. Also you can hire motor-boat around lake. (B+L+D)

Day 4     Jargalant village, Jargal Hot Springs

After breakfast we will drive to Jargalant soum, Visit Jargal Jiguur hot springs that emerge from the ground at 70 degrees Celsius. On the way to the camp we will visit a local horsemen family where you have an opportunity to experience their daily life, their culture and traditions. Overnight in tourist camp. (B+L+D)

Day 5    Terkh white Lake   

Drive to Khorgo extinct volcano and Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake. Khorgo is rich in beautiful scenery of mountains, cliffs, rapid streams, rivers, lakes, extinct volcanoes, green forests and pastures, where the long-haired yaks and horses pasture.  It's surrounded by the Khangai Mountains, which reach as 3000 meters above the sea level. If you wish, we can ride horse around the area. Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake is an astonishingly beautiful lake with relatively pure fresh water. Also it’s a good spot for bird watching and photographing. Overnight in tourist camp. (B+L+D)

Day 6     Khorgo extinct volcano, Taikhar rock

Today we will go to see amazing extinct Khorgo volcano which is next to White lake. After arriving there we can walk on the crater, then continue towards to Taikar Rock- is a massive granite rock located on the banks of the Tamir River.  The rock has some ancient inscriptions and considered as a sacred object for worship. . Overnight in tourist camp. (B+L+D)

Day 7    Mongolian Ancient Capital Kharkhorin

After breakfast we will drive to Karakorum and Erdenezuu Monastery. We will visit museum of Karakorum and also visit to the magnificent and oldest Buddhist Monastery complex of Erdene Zuu, built in the 16th century, with 108 stupas. Here you can see interesting listen to monk chanting Buddhist sutras. Stay overnight at tourist Ger camp. (B+L+D)

Day 8  Hustai National Park (Wild horse Takhi)

The next day our journey will continue to the Hustain Nuruu National Park. At Hustai N.P we’ll have a chance to visit small ger museum about wild horse and national park. In early evening, we will take short drive to see for wild horse Takhi - Przewalski Horse. There is great opportunity to take photo for these endangered horses. If you are lucky, you can see fox, deer, roe deer, eagle, and more animals and birds on the way to see the horses. Stay overnight at tourist ger camp in National Park area. (B+L+D)

Day 9   Half day city tour  

After breakfast, we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar, transfer your hotel and some personal refreshment in the hotel. In the afternoon, we will take optional shopping tour for souvenirs and local products. Suggested shopping places are State department store, famous “Gobi” cashmere factory store and ‘EVSEG’ cashmere. After shopping we will attend folk art concert by “famous Timen-Ekh” ensemble. Farewell dinner at “Bd’s Mongolian Barbeque” international chain restaurant. Stay overnight at the hotel. (B+L+D)

Day 10    Departure from Ulaanbaatar

After breakfast transferring to Chinggis Khaan International Airport to take departure flight.(B)
