Day 1. Arrival in Ulan Bator

Arrival at the airport, meeting with our driver. Transfer to your hotel, settling in, and rest. Before the lunch drop by the Gandan monastery which is one of the biggest monasteries in Mongolia. Then your guide and driver will take you in the restaurant for lunch. After eating your lunch let's immerse ourselves in the heart of the Mongolian history, in the wonderful National History Museum. Three floors of a rich, glorious, violent and noble past, from prehistory to Soviet period, including the creation of the great Mongolian Empire by Genghis Khan. Walk in the centre of Ulaanbaatar. Discovery of Chingiss Khan Square and the House of Parliament. At the end of our city tour we will visit the Zaisan memorial where you can see the whole city. Overnight in hotel.  (L+D)

Day 2. Khogno Khan

After breakfast in the hotel we will start our long journey. We arrive at the splendid rocky formations of Khogno Khan which include semidesert steppes, taiga, stunning rocky formations, 80-kilometres long sand dunes. Walk until Erdene Khambiin Monastery. "Monk Erdene's Monastery" dates from 17th century and was built in the mountain. Zanabazar built it in honour of his teacher, monk Erdene. Visit of the sand dunes of Elsen Tasarkhai. Overnight in tourist camp. (B+L+D)

Day 3 Kharakhorin

Journey to Kharkhorin, the ancient capital of Mongolia. The legendary city of Genghis Khan was founded in 1220 and was one of the stages of the silk road. The Mongolian Empire was governed from this city, until Kubilai Khan set up the capital in Beijing. Today, there are only a few vestiges left of the former capital. Visit of Erdene Zuu Monastery, built in 1586 by a nomad prince. The Chinese and Tibetan-inspired buildings are surrounded with 108 sacred stupas. Visit of the Museum of Kharkhorin. Journey to Orkhon Valley. Inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, the valley is a land of nomadism and many breeders set their summer camp there. (B+L+D)

Days 4-6 Orkhon valley on horseback
We will go horsetrekking along Orkhon Valley, from the camp until Orkhon waterfalls. Visit of Ulan Tsutgalaan falls, white flood flowing on the black stone, transformed in rainbow by a short sunray... These 24-metres falls are just magic. They formed 20.000 years ago, as a result of a unique combination of earthquakes and volcano eruptions. Overnight in tents. (B+L+D)
Day 7 Orkhon valley

On the way back to the camp you will discover nomads way of life and you will be proposed many activities, such as milking, making traditional dairy products, or rounding up the animals with a horse. Overnight in tourist camp. (B+L+D)

Day 8 Tovkhon monastery and Battsengel village

Visit of Tovkhon Monastery. Vehicles can't go until the top of Öndör Ulaan Hill and we will walk until there to discover Tovkhon Ermitage, where Zanabazar, the first religious leader of Mongolia, created the Soyombo alphabet. The monastery is located 2312 metres (1,44 mile) above the sea level and from that place we'll have a wonderful view on the whole Khangai range. In the late afternoon, arrival at nomad family near the village of Battsengel. In the yurt, we share a Mongolian meal with his family. He will talk about his horses and show you how proud of them he is. He will also give us advices about the pony trek. Overnight in tents. (B+L+D)

Day 9 Taikhar Rock

Heading towards to Taikar Rock- is a massive granite rock located on the banks of the Tamir River.  The rock has some ancient inscriptions and considered as a sacred object for worship. . Overnight in tourist camp. (B+L+D)

Day 10-11 Khorgo Volcano and Terkhiin tsagaan Lake

Drive to Khorgo extinct volcano and Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake. Khorgo is rich in beautiful scenery of mountains, cliffs, rapid streams, rivers, lakes, extinct volcanoes, green forests and pastures, where the long-haired yaks and horses pasture.  It's surrounded by the Khangai Mountains, which reach as 3000 meters above the sea level. If you wish, we can ride horse around the area. Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake is an astonishingly beautiful lake with relatively pure fresh water. Also it’s a good spot for bird watching and photographing. Day 12 Tsenkher Hot Spa

Drive to Tsenkher Hot Spa (Spring). This spring lies south of Tsetserleg town in Arkhangai province and comes out from far deep part of the ground and its water is not mixed with soil waters because it is hot. Also the spring is kept in high pressure under the ground flow rate is high, 10 liters per seconds. The water has high mineral content and containing everything from simple calcium, sodium to sulphuric. Folklore claimed medical value some of this springs have, they are often popular tourist destinations for Mongolian people. Overnight in ger camp. (B+L+D)

Day 13 Khustai national park

The next day our journey will continue to the Hustain Nuruu National Park. At Hustai N.P we’ll have a chance to visit small ger museum about wild horse and national park. In early evening, we will take short drive to see for wild horse Takhi - Przewalski Horse. There is great opportunity to take photo for these endangered horses. If you are lucky, you can see fox, deer, roe deer, eagle, and more animals and birds on the way to see the horses. Stay overnight at tourist ger camp in National Park area. (B+L+D)

Day 14 Ulaanbaatar

After breakfast, we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar, transfer your hotel and some personal refreshment in the hotel. In the afternoon, we will take optional shopping tour for souvenirs and local products. Suggested shopping places are State department store, famous “Gobi” cashmere factory store and ‘EVSEG’ cashmere. After shopping we will attend folk art concert by “famous Timen-Ekh” ensemble. Farewell dinner at “Bd’s Mongolian Barbeque” international chain restaurant. Stay overnight at the hotel. (B+L+D)

Day 15    Departure from Ulaanbaatar

After breakfast transferring to Chinggis Khaan International Airport to take departure flight.(B)
